The Peers with Lived Experience & Expertise Working Group operates with the purpose to build and sustain health equity-focused working relationships between community members, community-serving organizations (CSOs), community-based organizations (CBOs) and the Lake County Health Department.
Our intention and all related activity, based on the structure built by the CDC Foundation and collaborative-based collective impact, guides all parties along a spectrum of community engagement to community ownership through the CHIP (Community Health Improvement Plan).
